My Pageant Experience

The past few weeks have been a once in a lifetime experience with the contestants of the 2010 Miss Universe Pageant. I can't describe how amazing it feels to now have 82 sisters from all over the world. I think I may have convinced a few of them to move to New York, including my roommate at the pageant, Miss Puerto Rico, Mariana Vicente. After weeks of a nonstop slumber party and spending every waking moment together, it was very upsetting when it was time for me to say goodbye to all of the girls. I will always remember the beautiful women with whom I spent so many days laughing, making funny videos for Miss.U.TV, and rehearsing for the 2010 Miss Universe Pageant. It has been a wonderful experience.

It was also hard saying goodbye to my old sister, Stefania Fernandez, who I grew to love so much. I wish her all the best in the years ahead.

The great news is that I have a new sister and roommate, Ximena Navarrete! I can’t wait to get to know her better. It is going to be a great year!

  Rima, you should've been Miss Universe!!! Love Jimena as much as you like, but we love you more... God knows why you weren't "allowed" to enter the list of the 15 favorites (I do not want to call it a Top 15 as that's debatable - clearly, you were the best!)
  
  Think about joining another pageant after Miss USA, how about Miss World USA? You could then go to Miss World and win the title for both USA and Lebanon!!! We'll all support you our lady!!!!
