or Prague....I agree I think the MU 2010 should be held in an elegant and impressive country. Dubai would be great but remember they are of muslim faith and the swimsuit competition would not set well in this culture.

An excellent idea. The UAE is one of Asia's most modern and exotic countries, a perfect combination.
Over the last decades, it has moved from being one of the world's biggest exporters of oil to being considered a mecca for tourism. What is more, they have one of the world's biggest standards of living, along with Qatar, South Korea and Iceland. However I don't think that UAE will be host for the Miss Universe (CROATIA WILL BE) in August or September 2010. Why? UAE has not ties with the Israel state. In some ways , they have an anti-Israel policy.

ONE OF MY DREAMS IS TO SEE A MISS HAITI IN MISS UNIVERSE PAGEANT. Miss Haiti does not participate in MU since 1989. I have a great memory of Gerthie David, Miss Haiti 1975, who impressed the international judges, among them Jean-Claude Killy (Olympic champ) and Sarah Vaugham (America’s performer), with her elegance and simplicity, at the Miss Universe in San Salvador (the most notable jury in MU history). She was the second black delegate to be named vice-Miss Universe in MU history. Great MISS HAITI UNIVERSE GERTHIE DAVID

I think Vice President Maktoum if will wisely decided to be or not to be held in Dubai. Due to the political global crisis is starting to recover and i think its not the right time dubai will not hela at the moment.
. However there is still existing conservative female arabs will might protest for the said host country. Better to be held in Asian countries like Singapore, Australia or South american country like Brazil it will better. don't you think???
